Freshly oiled (mink with silicone) to condition and waterproof these. Sole runner conditioned. These vintage full grain leather hiking boots (vasque, raichle, etc) essentially last a lifetime. Typically you're at most replacing the vibram soles. They are a fairly easy replacement. Epoxy them on and then additionally use screws or nails for extra support or not. But the boots are excellently made. These are overall in very good condition. As you can see in pics. I think the vibram soles were probably replaced at some point they are not very worn. They appear to be sturdy attached on the shoe well. Normal knicks or skuffs ankle leather is solid but has surface wear after not being conditioned for a long while but Joe that I've oiled them they should stay put. Nice internal padding still good too. All in all pretty excellent for their age These vintage hiking boots are a bit difficult to gage size compared to modern synthetic boots. These list a size of 5 m but they list neither gender nor size region. Pretty certain these were made in Italy but 5 couldn't be an Italian size cause these are not a us 8-ish which would be that equivalent. My best guess is these were made for the us market or a us company ( they're unbranded but almost identical to the same period vasque) my best guess is these are a USA women's 5-5.5 or a men's 3.5-4. I have a few tape measure photos for visual reference and you can make the call from your end. I don't take returns so make a judgement call on the size. It's hard to get an accurate internal measurement with a tape measure cause of shoe shape and curvature. From the outside side the boot cavity appears 9-9.25" internally looked more like 8.5-8.75". Bottom sole length was 10.625". They list as a medium width.
